Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Service Growth

Job Details

As we are driving our Service Transformation towards more outcome-based service and to support our mission of sustainability, we are looking to strengthen our Service Growth team in Continental Europe.

Your tasks

  • Define, structure and lead action plans to grow our Service Business exponentially, built on our long-term Strategic Vision

  • Standardize, expand and roll out service offerings to the market. Close collaboration with internal teams to create and successfully launch new service solutions, especially our Smart Connected Equipment offerings

  • Create and develop strategic growth plans and Go-To-Market plans for main business areas in collaboration with country business partners and service leaders

  • Provide day-to-day direction and coaching to the cross-functional team on priorities, objectives, processes and tasks

  • Further professionalize our service sales organization, focusing on communication, customer interaction and measuring results

  • Build a positive and innovative environment which encourages commitment and trust and rewards positive achievements and behaviors

  • Promote and develop the corporate environment and shared values, driving teamwork, culture, compliance and integrity

  • Focus, articulate and drive targets, budget achievement and results

How you will do it

You will be part of the operational business service team, driving growth of our services businesses across Continental Europe. Services encompass all product lines of business. You will work with our leadership to develop, implement and supervise strategies and action plans. Your focus will be on achieving above market service growth and profitability in a sustainable manner while driving retention and margin improvements.

Your profile

  • University degree, MBA or equivalent academic qualification

  • Profound experience in business development or sales for service businesses

  • Extensive experience in operations and stakeholder management

  • Outstanding track record of achieving sustained profitable growth

  • Experience in working in international organizations and within an international setting

  • Effective teamwork, networking and collaboration skills with ability to get things done in a matrixed environment with distributed teams

  • Ability to combine strategic and tactical imperatives

  • Strong communication and people skills at all business levels

  • Fluency in English, further language such as German, French or Spanish is a plus

  • Occasional travel within the CE region and intercontinental
