Regional Key Account and Business Development Directors (m/w/d) - Commercial - Retail - EU

In these customer-facing roles, you will use your existing relationships, experience and contacts to WIN and onboard retail clients, shape strategies, and drive operational excellence across integrated end to end global supply chains. If you are passionate about logistics, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have an extensive background in business development and account management for demanding retail brands requiring solutioning, optimization and a partnership approach to doing business, this could be your next big move.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify target customers, engage at C level, understand their challenges and the “job to be done”, offer curated solutions & WIN sustainable revenues and margins.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key retail accounts across Europe and beyond.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients across internal teams: operations, procurement, solutions & engineering and marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop & implement the scope of work and contracts.
  • Forecast and track key account KPIs, prepare dashboards, and lead commercial reviews.
  • Lead the preparation of analytics for Quarterly and Strategic Business Reviews (QBRs/SBRs).
  • Represent DP World with professionalism and integrity at all times. 

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in business development, account management in logistics/supply chain preferably in Retail industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in Account Management, including the use of CRM and Power BI.
  • A good understanding of end-to-end processes for multimodal logistics with emphasis on sustainability.
  • Strong client network within the retail sector, especially across fashion, lifestyle, home goods, and luxury.
  • Deep understanding of 2PL, 3PL, customs brokerage, B2B & B2C e-commerce logistics.
  • Good command over developments in digital ecosystem to support inventory visibilty.
  • Fluent in English & local language as per locations specified above (written and oral).
  • Willingness to travel internationally (mostly within Europe).
